The subway has 5 lines (T1–T5), which intersect on the central shared route between Majorstuen and Tøyen.
The first trains run around 05:00 on weekdays and around 06:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The last trains leave between about 00:30 and 01:30, at about the same time every night. Lines T1, T4 and T5 run every 15 minutes all day; T2 and T3 every 7–8 minutes on weekday daytime, otherwise every 15 minutes. Between Majorstuen and Tøyen a train comes every 2–3 minutes.
An adult single ticket for Zone 1 costs 46 kr and is valid for 60 minutes. Children (6–17) pay 19 kr and seniors (67+) 23 kr. Students get no discount on single tickets.
Yes, all Ruter tickets are valid on the subway, buses, trams, boats, and Vy trains within the zone.
